Professor Einav Rabinovitch-Fox recently contributed to an article published at usatoday.com titled “NASA’s spacesuit issue is all too familiar for working women,” written in the wake of NASA’s announcement that it has to cancel plans for the first-ever all-women space walk due to a lack of spacesuits in the correct size. Professor Rabinovitch-Fox offered her expertise on how women’s clothing has shaped their experiences in the workplace throughout history, from the health hazards of voluminous skirts on factory floors, to Serena Williams’ “cat suit” in the 2018 French Open.
