Amanda Mahoney, chief curator of the Dittrick Medical History Center at the College of Arts and Sciences, partnered with the team behind the university’s Encyclopedia of Cleveland History, to help tell the story of Cuyahoga County’s best-in-U.S. record in vaccinating residents against polio in the early 1960s.
