The history faculty at CWRU teach a range of subjects about the history of United States and its place in the wider world. In addition to History 112, the innovative Introduction to American History, our subjects span time and theme, including courses in race, gender, immigration, technology, social policy, politics and foreign relations, environment, and culture. Students grounded in the methods of American history are well prepared for careers in law, public policy, and advanced graduate study, as well as informed civic engagement.
